NAME | ROLE | INFO |
---|---|---|
Son | Vocals, Harmonica | Not only does Son provide kickin' vocals but his superior harmonica playing tears through the air like a bat outta hell subduing all who listen. |
Vid | Vocals, Guitar | Vid's rippin' riffs and multitude of funk influences attribute to his own style of playing, which he dubs "SassFolk". He also provides melodious harmonies. |
Now I'm going to learn you some Sonny's Noontime Jamboree History. SNJ first officially formed on Saturday, September 27, 1998. They first called themselves "Vid + Son". Three hours after their first jam session, they already had one smash hit to their name. It was the blessed AOLSong. Click on the banner below to go to the AOLSong webpage. (It has tabs and lyrics so you can tear out a little AOLSong action for yourself.) Well, today rolls around and we see "Vid + Son" with a new name and a new attitude. With "AOLSong" sweeping the nation, "50 Year Old Man" halfway through production and "She's Evil But She Smiles A Lot" laid out on the table, there's sure to be some fire shootin' from Bunker Hill. Sonny's Noontime Jamboree appears on PSHS's STAND CD. They cover the Grateful Dead's "Uncle John's Band". It rocks. Everyone buy a copy... hell, buy two.
I'm currently working on getting AOLSong download-able directly from this page. The banner below is highly unreliable so if it doesn't do it for you, you (AOL Members) can use this link here to download it. Just scroll down until you come to the subject "AOLSong". It'll be fun!
